Elestio and blitz.cloud both run your apps for you, but at different scales. Elestio is the better choice when you need many regions, custom infrastructure options, or a larger management layer above your containers. blitz.cloud fits when you want to start without paying, run several apps on one plan, or prefer a smaller European company with a simple interface.

## Where Elestio is the better choice

Elestio is built for teams that want to scale across many regions and customize infrastructure. It partners with eight major cloud providers, so you can deploy to dozens of regions worldwide and choose which cloud suits you. If you need advanced features like multiple backup sites, specific compliance requirements, or the ability to manage many services at scale, Elestio's management layer and pricing tiers offer that. You also get more managed databases and software options than blitz.cloud's app store.

## Where blitz.cloud fits better

- You want to try something before paying. The free plan needs no card and no credit, with 512 MB memory and 5 apps.
- You run several apps. Pro is one price for the account, so five apps that stay awake cost 7 EUR a month, not five separate infrastructure charges.
- You want your own project next to the store apps: a Docker image, or a GitHub repository that goes online on every push.
- You want the database managed for you, with automatic nightly backups you can restore from the dashboard.
- You want a German company and one predictable EU data centre, with support in German or English.
