There's no official "FileBrowser Cloud"; it's a web-based file browser you run yourself and access from anywhere. The services people compare it to for cloud storage are subscription-based (like Nextcloud or Dropbox), not just a file browser. On blitz.cloud you can run FileBrowser free, with the usual free-plan limits, or keep it awake on Pro so you can browse files anytime.

Self-hosting FileBrowser yourself

FileBrowser's source is public under the Apache 2.0 licence, free for any use including commercial. What it costs instead: a server you pick and pay for whether you use it or not, storage for your files, installing Docker, setting up HTTPS yourself, and keeping backups and updates current.
