What's live on blitz.cloud - features available today and coming next
The current list of what works on blitz.cloud today, and the features still in development in the order they are being built. Updated with every release.
blitz.cloud is in public beta. Today you can host public Docker images and 13 App Store apps under your own address with HTTPS, build any public GitHub project from its source, add managed PostgreSQL, MariaDB or Redis databases with nightly backups, and manage everything from the dashboard. Connecting a GitHub account, custom domains, automatic updates, private apps, an AI assistant connection and the Pro plan are not live yet.

In the order we're building them. We don't publish dates, because a date that slips is worse than none.
- Connect your GitHub account. Private projects, a repository picker, and a new version online every time you push.
- Builds where blitz.cloud writes the Dockerfile for you when detection cannot, repairs a failed build, and automatic updates for apps with rollback if an update fails.
- Custom domains, with DNS verification and automatic certificates, plus your own DNS records under your address.
- Private apps, reachable only from your own devices through Tailscale or WireGuard.
- An MCP server and API keys, so AI assistants such as Claude can manage your apps.
- The Pro plan.
- Visitor and uptime numbers for your apps.
- A security review, restore drills, account deletion from Settings, and backups of app files.
Known limits today
- Docker images must be public, on Docker Hub, built for amd64, and able to run as a non-root user.
- One database per app, and only one on the free plan.
- App files are not backed up, only databases.
- Redis restores are done by hand on request.
- The port of an existing app can't be changed from the dashboard.
- There's no download or export button for data yet.
- Home Assistant, FreshRSS and Stirling PDF don't start on the platform yet, Nextcloud may not, and Immich still needs Redis. See App Store.
