Since 26 September 2026 blitz.cloud is out of beta. Today you can host 119 ready-made apps from the App Store, any public Docker image, and your own code from GitHub, public or private, with a new version online every time you push. Each app gets an address under your own name with HTTPS. Add PostgreSQL, MariaDB or Redis databases with nightly backups, watch uptime and traffic on each app's page, and go back to an earlier version with one click. Apps can also be private, reachable only from your own devices through Tailscale or WireGuard, and an AI assistant such as Claude or Cursor can manage all of it for you over MCP. Pro costs 7 EUR a month and adds domains you own, apps that stay awake, more room, and nightly copies of your apps' files.

Known limits today

  • Docker images must be public and built for amd64. Private images aren't supported.
  • Overnight updates look at Docker Hub, GitHub's registry, Quay, lscr.io, GitLab, Amazon's and Microsoft's public registries. An image elsewhere is not checked.
  • One database per app, and only one on the free plan. Some App Store apps bring a small cache next to it, which doesn't count as a database.
  • On Pro, app files are copied every night too. On the free plan only databases are.
  • Redis restores are done by hand on request.
  • "Download my data" in Settings gives you one file with your apps, their settings, databases, domains and history. What your apps keep on disk and what is inside your databases is not in it.
  • A single request to an app can be up to 100 MB. Larger uploads are refused before they reach the app.
  • Outgoing traffic is limited to 50 Mbit/s per app on the free plan and 200 Mbit/s on Pro. There is no traffic meter and no traffic bill.
  • Apps can't be reached over SSH, so Forgejo is used over HTTPS.
  • Everything runs in one region in the EU, and you can't choose a region. More regions in Europe are planned.
