Joplin Server hosting in the EU

Run your own Joplin Server, an alternative to Evernote and OneNote. One-click install, HTTPS, servers in the EU. Free plan, no card.

Updated

Joplin Server: keeps your Joplin notes in sync across your phone and computers, on a server that is yours. On blitz.cloud you install it from the App Store in one click. It gets its own address with HTTPS and the PostgreSQL it needs, and it runs on servers in the EU. You can run it on the free plan, without a credit card.

A self-hosted alternative to Evernote, OneNote and Notion

Joplin Server does the job of Evernote, OneNote or Notion, but it is your own copy: your data sits in your app, not in somebody else's account, and nobody changes the price or the rules on you. Self-hosting usually means renting a server and keeping it patched. Here the App Store sets it up and keeps it running.

Install it

  1. Create a free account and open the App Store in the dashboard.
  2. Search for Joplin Server, or for Evernote, and pick a name. It becomes the address, like joplin.yourname.blitz.cloud.
  3. Click Put it online. The last step lists everything that gets created, the database included, and how much of your plan it uses.
  4. Open the app's address and sign in with admin@localhost and the password admin.
  5. Change both right away under your profile. Anyone who knows Joplin knows the default.
